Dr. Jasmine U. Jones Claim

Dr. Jones graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2014 from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and has over 8 years working in the mental health field. She has a Masters of Counseling degree and began her career working with survivors of domestic violence and their children. Dr. Jones then transitioned to working with the Department of Child and Family Services where she served as a therapist for foster children who were battling trauma and the effects of placement in several foster homes. She had the opportunity to provide parenting classes to those interested in being foster parents as well as parent training for current foster parents and parents interested in reunited with their children. Additionally, Dr. Jones has experience aiding couples resolve relational issues as well as working in academia. She is currently a professor of Psychology at a health care college. Dr. Jones also has an extensive history in the field of forensic psychology. She has conducted fitness for duty evaluations for police officers as well as mental health screenings for those applying to law enforcement roles. Furthermore, Dr. Jones has over 6 years of experience working with men who are currently incarcerated and has a holistic understanding of how incarceration, addiction, and criminal lifestyles affect reentry/recidivism of said individuals as well as the well-being of their loved ones. ​ Dr. Jones is a dynamic, approachable and dedicated psychologist who will help anyone she can. She is passionate about helping others heal their family dynamics and increase their self-worth so that they feel encouraged to face the world with purpose and pride. She also believes that healthy relationships and honesty are the foundations of change and, as such, she models both to those around her.
