Description
Dr. Jain is a clinical neuropsychologist; she specializes in neuropsychology which is the study of brain-behavior relationships and conducts neuropsychological assessments to evaluate brain-based difficulties affecting neurocognitive and neurobehavioral functioning. Dr. Jain specializes in the evaluation of children, adolescents, and adults with concerns including autism spectrum disorders, AD/HD, executive dysfunction, memory problems, dementia and neuropsychological difficulties which arise as a result of medical conditions such as, traumatic brain injury, hydrocephalus, seizures/epilepsy, cancer, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and sickle cells disease. Dr. Jain works closely with referring physicians (e.g., pediatricians, neurologists, family practice, internal medicine, and geriatricians) and schools in order to explain evaluation results and provide ongoing follow-up with respect to medication management and program development (e.g., academic modifications such as IEPs, tutoring, referrals for specific therapies, and vocational consultation regarding necessary therapies and work place accommodations).
